Desert Mirage is a vibrant work form a young but distinguished artist. Kateryna Plyva holds a Master’s degree in Art from Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, Ukraine.
After her studies, Kateryna pursued a modeling career and split her time between Milan and Kiev, continuing to develop and exhibit her singular and contemplative spiritual universe made of compassionate angels, symbolizing humanity’s salvation from hatred and violence in the face of adversity on Earth.
During the pandemic crisis in 2020, she was attracted to the UAE by its spirit of freedom, which was grandly revealed during those troubled times.
In 2022, she unveiled her inaugural collection titled “Wild,” drawing inspiration from the UAE’s majestic and untamed creatures that symbolize grace, power, and unwavering determination.
In 2023, she is launching her second collection named “Elemental,” conveying a powerful message of the profound values that define life in the region, where the relentless strength of nature has forged a legacy of adaptation and resilience for centuries.
Through her series of paintings and artworks, Kateryna explores the contrasting themes of serenity and love that permeate the air, as well as the necessity of movement, unity, and strength required for survival and existence on Earth.
